Los anteriores largometrajes de Matthew Portefield, Putty Hill y I used to be darker pudieron verse en Gijón 2011 y Sundance 2013. En Sollers Point, Keith, un joven de 24 años, está en libertad condicional tras haber pasado un año en la cárcel y regresa a casa de su padre, el reconocible Baltimore de The wire. Keith intenta reconstruir su vida personal y superar la incomunicación que se ha instalado entre su padre y él. La integración no va a resultar nada fácil. Los problemas sociales de la zona: el abandono, el desempleo y la segregación... no serán nada comparados con las batallas interiores con las que tendrá que lidiar.
