Alex y Selma son una pareja enamorada que viaja al corazón de Bosnia y Herzegovina. Cuando su coche encalla en mitad del bosque, deciden ir en busca de ayuda al pueblo cercano. Durante el camino, Selma –una musulmana superviviente de la Guerra de los Balcanes–, empieza a sospechar que una fuerza misteriosa les acompaña. Alex –un joven europeo confiado y feliz–, trata de quitarle de la cabeza la descabellada idea.
