Valeria tiene 17 años y está embarazada. Vive en Puerto Vallarta con Clara, su media hermana. Valeria no ha querido que Abril –la madre, que lleva mucho tiempo ausente– se entere del embarazo. Sin embargo Clara, ante la presión económica y las responsabilidades que implica tener un bebé en casa, decide llamarla. Abril llega con disposición de ayudar a sus hijas, pero pronto entenderemos por qué Valeria prefería mantenerla lejos.
