Un cuento de verano sobre la convivencia entre cuatro actrices y una escritora que ensayan una obra de teatro en un antiguo molino, apartado del mundo. Es la historia de un hechizo. Con princesas, sapos, ríos, cartas y hasta un príncipe despistado.

Durante esos días de ensayo, las chicas se irán conociendo y midiendo a través de los materiales que plantea la obra, y aportarán sus propias vivencias alrededor de los temas de sus personajes: el amor, la belleza, la orfandad, la fe, la amistad, la actuación, la muerte.
