Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura acoge la jornada asturiana de la iniciativa colaborativa CORTEN, un proyecto de promoción y difusión de los cortometrajes de los catálogos Laboral Cinemateca Cortos (Asturias), Shorts from Galicia, Cantabria en corto, Kimuak (Euskadi) y Shortzinema (Navarra) que podrán verse en filmotecas, salas comerciales y otros espacios adecuados para su proyección. Además, sus directores y directoras podrán viajar para presentar su trabajo y participar en encuentros profesionales en cada uno de los territorios.

Para participar en las actividades formativas previstas es necesario inscribirse, mientras que las proyecciones vespertinas de cortometrajes 'Talento emergente' (17.30 horas) y CORTEN (19 horas) son abiertas al público general previo retirada de invitación.
