Después de la disolución de Manta Ray en 2008, Nacho Álvarez se propuso iniciar una nueva andadura musical alejado de los senderos ya recorridos con su anterior banda. Para ello buscó, en recónditos y viejos cajones, antiguas composiciones tanto suyas como de alguno de sus eternos ídolos con la esperanza de crear un cancionero que le sitúe en una nueva dimensión tanto ética como estética y poder conformar un repertorio más cercano a un incierto y nostálgico corazón que a la arquitectura sónica de sus años como bajista.

15 años depués el músico se encuentra en pleno proceso de mezclas de lo que será su tercer trabajo y cuyo adelanto, 'Lobos y lobas', prevé dar un nuevo golpe de timón en la carrera del artista.
