El joven Charlie Bucket, y otros cuatro ganadores del billete dorado, vivirán una experiencia que los cambiará para siempre. Guiados por los famosos trabajadores de la fábrica, los Oompa-Loompas, descubrirán el mundo imaginario de Wonka, donde habrá cascadas de chocolate, ardillas locas, un gran elevador de cristal y muchas sorpresas más.

Musical basado en la increíble historia escrita por Roald Dahl que fue adaptada al cine en 'Un mundo de fantasía', del director Mel Stuart en 1971, con canciones de Leslie Bricusse y Anthony Newle, y en una segunda adaptación dirigida por Tim Burton en 'Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate' en 2005 protagonizada por Johnny Depp.
