Muestra que lleva al público a conocer las tribus urbanas actuales de lugares tan alejados ideológica y geográficamente como Vietnam, Marruecos y los Estados Unidos. Lugares tan dispares responden a una inquietud común de Trillo: mostrar las tribus urbanas y las tendencias juveniles en la periferia frente a la centralidad del discurso dominante de los Estados Unidos.

De esta forma el fotógrafo andaluz demuestra cómo la estética emanada de los movimientos juveniles norteamericanos se impone en países cuya ideología dominante es tan ajena a la 'yankee', como el comunismo o el Islam.
