Un accidente ferroviariu crucia los caminos de los protagonistes: una muyer d'unos 45 años, divorciada y con dos fíos, viaxa pa visitar al so fíu mayor na ciudá onde estudia, yá que'l rapaz tien problemes d'adicción. Un mozu de 25 años estudia pa maquinista y regresa a casa pa visitar al so pá.

Depués del escarrilamientu, entrmabos queden atrapaos nuna zona de monte y en plena fola de friu. La nieve, les temperatures baxes y la imposibilidá de pidir ayuda, faen que les sos vides cuerran peligru, obligándolos a enfrentase a los sos prexuicios pa sobrevivir.
