París, 1930. Tres l'escándalo de la estrena de 'La edad de oro', a Buñuel piesllen-y toles puertes y nun consigue sacar alantre proyeutu nengún. Comienza entós a da-y vueltes a una idea que nun dexa de tener ciertu aire provocador: documentar la vida en Las Hurdes, una de las zones más probes d'España. Pero pa rodar 'Las Hurdes, tierra sin pan' Buñuel necesitará la vitalidá del so amigu fiel Ramón Acín y l'azar en forma de billete de llotería. Será'l momentu de dexar atrás la sombra de Dalí y embarcase nel rodaxe d'una película que cuestiona lo que ye la mirada documental, l'autor frente a la realidá y, sobre manera, si tolos medios son llícitos pa consiguir una obra cinematográfica…, aunque ésta sía al final una obra maestra de la historia del cine.

'Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas' ye una emocionante y lluminosa adaptación del cómic de Fermín Solís –finalista del Premio Nacional de Cómic– que contó col diseñu artísticu del prestixosu José Luis Ágreda, promovida amás por Manuel Cristóbal (Arrugas).
