La esposición resalta'l papel que, dende distintos puntos de vista, tuvo la bicicleta en momentos claves de la historia recién: como mediu de tresporte llaboral, como divertimientu, como deporte y nos grandes acontecimientos bélicos (primer y segunda guerres mundiales y guerra de Vietnam). La función orixinal de la bicicleta como útil de desplazamientu repercutió nel impulsu de la industrialización, na autonomía individual, na llibertá de movimientos y hasta na vestimienta femenina, ya que les muyeres incorporáronse llueu al ciclismu. L'amuesa esibe una docena de bicicletes históriques de finales del sieglu XIX y principios del XX de marques como Spalding, Opel, Peugeot, Raleigh, Flying Pigeon, Moser y Pinarello, esta postrera utilizada por Miguel Indurain. Amás, hai paneles esplicativos de la hestoria de la bici, un audiovisual y un espositor ciclista de los años 30, perteneciente al Garaxe Villalaín de L.luarca.
