Rafael Canogar (Toledo, 1935) es uno de los más destacados pintores representantes del arte abstracto en nuestro país. En el evento departirá con la profesora y doctora en Historia del Arte por la UNED, Genoveva Tusell, sobre su obra artística y su dilatada trayectoria.

Se da además la circunstancia de que varias de las obras de Canogar están presentes en la exposición 'Vuelta al revés del revés', que se puede visitar hasta el 30 de diciembre en la Cúpula del Centro Niemeyer. En todos los encuentros de 'Palabra' los invitados serán presentados por Javier García Rodríguez, escritor, profesor de la Universidad de Oviedo y programador del propio ciclo.
