Algo más que apuntes autobiográficos en esta catártica 'Honey boy', con guion y producción del siempre inquieto Shia LaBeouf ('Transformers', 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull', 'Nymphomaniac' y 'American Honey') quien encarna a su propio padre. Aunque eso sí, tocado con un hipnótico peinado mullet.

Otis es un niño de 12 años que descubre desde muy joven la fama de Hollywood. Su padre es un antiguo payaso de rodeo, ahora sin trabajo, que decide centrar su vida en orientar y tutelar al pequeño.
