The Pink Panther Mambo es un concierto vocal y coral dirigido por el gran arreglista, compositor y director norteamericano Kirby Shaw. Su aportación supone sin lugar a dudas, uno de los mayores impactos para la música coral de los dos últimos siglos. Como compositor, sus arreglos corales superan ya los 3.000 de los que ha vendido más de dos millones de copias adaptando temas de Paul Simon, The Mamas and the Papas o para formaciones vocales tan emblemáticas como The Manhattan Transfer.


Llegado del Carnegie Hall en Nueva York, su siguiente parada será Avilés donde, además de impartir un curso para la A. Vocal Jazz Academy, dirigirá un coro de más de 40 personas venidas de diferentes puntos de España tanto en formación coral como individual, acompañados por César Latorre al piano.
