Dorothy, una joven muchacha que vive con sus tíos en Kansas, es atrapada por un tornado que la llevará a unas extrañas tierras gobernadas por el Mago de Oz. Para regresar a casa, Dorothy deberá visitar al Mago. Lo hará acompañada por un espantapájaros, un robot y un león. Todos ellos tienen importantes deseos que pedirle, pero si quieren lograrlos antes tendrán que acabar con la Malvada Bruja del Oeste.
