La exposición 'Camín 10. En la colección del museo', con la que se quiere rendir homenaje, en el décimo aniversario de su fallecimiento, a uno de los artistas más importantes de la segunda mitad del pasado siglo en nuestro país, como fue Joaquín Rubio Camín (Gijón, 1929-2007), artista prolífico y multidisciplinar, Premio Nacional de Pintura y Premio Nacional de Escultura. Estuvo estrechamente ligado a Evaristo Valle (Gijón, 1873-1951), del que fue albacea testamentario, y a María Rodríguez del Valle, colaborando en el proyecto y posterior desarrollo de la Fundación Museo Evaristo Valle.
