'La exposición surge como homenaje al gran escultor Juan Muñoz (1953-2001) después de visitar la mayor retrospectiva de su obra en el Museo Reina Sofía en el año 2009. Desde entonces, y dado el gran impacto que me produjo, decidí trabajar en una colección inspirándome en sus esculturas y trasladándolas al lienzo con un lenguaje propio. La muestra consta de tres series: azul (figuras con este color), mármol (figuras que recuerdan claramente a esta roca) y color y espacio (las figuras se sitúan en diferentes espacios con gran colorido).'
