Sabino Méndez Ramos (Barcelona, 1961) se hizo famoso con solo veinte años como compositor y guitarrista del grupo de rock 'Loquillo y Los Trogloditas'.


Su obra escrita, opacada por el éxito musical, tardó más en difundirse y no sería hasta después del año dos mil cuando crítica y público llamarían la atención sobre libros como 'Corre, rocker', 'Limusinas y estrellas', 'Hotel Tierra', 'Historia del hambre y la sed' o el recientemente publicado 'Literatura universal'. Licenciado en Filología Hispánica y especializado en teoría literaria, ha colaborado en prácticamente todos los medios de prensa escrita de ámbito estatal.
