Boris Izaguirre es escritor desde los 16 años, cuando comenzó con una columna semanal en el diario 'El Nacional' de su Venezuela natal. Ha escrito siete novelas, entre otras, 'El Vuelo de los Avestruces' en 1991, “Dos Monstruos Juntos” en el 2011 y su más reciente 'Un Jardín al Norte' en 2015. En 2007 fue finalista del Premio Planeta con 'Villa Diamante'.


Desde el año 2011 pública una columna semanal, La Paradoja y El Estilo, en el diario El País. Además escribe una columna mensual en la última página de Harper’s Bazaar España y es colaborador habitual de Vanity Fair en Español.
