El 27 de enero de 1977 nació el Grupo Coral de Ponte (Guimaraes - Portugal), bajo la dirección del Dr. John Fisher. A demás de la solemnización de la misa dominical de la Parroquia, su objetivo inicial, comenzó desde muy temprana edad, a participar y organizar actividades culturales y varios viajes para proporcionar el enriquecimiento cultural a sus miembros, a nivel nacional e internacional.
