Desde el barrio rojo de la capital de Finlandia, Helsinki, llegan Tina Bednoff & The Cocktailers, un cuarteto de abrasivo de rhythm & blues capaz de derretir cualquier sala. Formados en 2013 como trío, no tardaron en incluir un piano a la fiesta. Con un EP editado en 2014 y un reciente Lp para El Toro Records, pretenden que bailes hasta el agotamiento. Al frente, Tina, toda una señora del blues con más de treinta años de carrera a sus espaldas, su voz y guitarra nos recuerda que ha seguido los pasos de grandes clásicos como T-Bone Walker, Big Mama Thorntorn o Memphis Minnie. Su sonido, basado firmemente en el R&B de los 40’s y 50’s, no tiene por objetivo replicar los éxitos del pasado, sino ofrecer un cóctel bien mezclado de grandes temas para la pista de baile. Rock’n’Roll primitivo, Rhythm & Blues, Rumba, Exótica, Blues… se dan la mano.
