Una historia de amor contada en tres tiempos o tres historias de amor contadas a la sombra de una guerra. En un hermoso marco, un pueblecito de Dalmacia en la ribera de un apacible lago, tienen lugar estas tres historias. La primera antes del conflicto de los Balcanes, la segunda justo al finalizar y la última en 2011. De esta manera unos contemporáneos Romeo y Julieta sirven al director y guionista para reflexionar sobre el odio, la tolerancia y la violencia desde el prisma del amor.
