Vuelta Abajo es un grupo formado en Oviedo y compuesto mayoritariamente por asturianos, unidos por
el amor a la música y en especial por la música popular y folklórica de América latina.

Los fundadores del grupo eligieron este nombre rememorando sus viajes por la Isla de Cuba y aludiendo
a la región tabaquera de más prestigio por la calidad de su hoja.

En sus inicios la base musical del grupo era la música tradicional cubana, pero tras la ampliación de componentes realizada en 2006, nuestro repertorio se ha ampliado a canciones pertenecientes a todo el folklore hispanoamericano, permitiéndonos ser nexo de unión afectiva con multitud de países y personas de habla hispana.
