Desde Toulouse nos llega Laure Briard, una joven francesa que dice ser fan de ‘Twin Peaks’ y de Melody Echo’s Chamber pero cuya música suena, tal y como apunta Gorilla vs Bear, a un cruce entre los Stereolab más accesibles y vocalistas de la canción pop francesa tipo Françoise Hardy. No sabemos cómo le quedaría a Briard la ‘Suzanne‘ de Leonard Cohen pero su voz, susurrada y dulce, se antoja más que óptima para las agradables melodías de sabor clásico de canciones como ‘Je m’en vai’ o ‘C’est la vie’. Estará acompañada por la también francesa Michelle Blades.
