El paisaje, la costa y la zona rural, son las temáticas preferentes de esta exposición; fundamentalmente de Gijón, e indudablemente dicen mucho de la pasión de la autora por su ciudad.

Tema que no por ser recurrente, se agota; al contrario se muestra y surge con multitud de variantes, tantas como la sensibilidad de Loli Matilla es capaz de captar: momentos distintos con sus distintas tonalidades, perspectivas y composiciones diferentes que nos acercan al lugar para invitarnos a recrearlo, y de alguna forma también a redescubrirlo.
