La versión teatral del filme estrenáu nel 1992 recrea la icónica canción 'I will always love you', amás d'otros munchos temes de la banda sonora orixinal de la película, la más vendida de tolos tiempos y Grammy al Álbum del Añu. Coles mesmes, formen parte del musical otros grandes ésitos de Houston como 'Run to you', 'I have nothing', 'So emotional', 'One moment in time', 'Queen of the night' o 'I wanna dance with somebody'.
