Alejandro Palomas (Barcelona, 1967) ye llicenciáu en Filoloxía Inglesa y tien un master en Poesía pol New College of California. Compaxinó les sos incursiones nel mundu del periodismu cola poesía y cola traducción d'autores importantes. Como novelista espublizó, ente otres, 'El tiempo del corazón', 'El secreto de los Hoffman', 'El alma del mundo' y 'El tiempo que nos une', que-y valieron premios destacaos como'l Nuevo Talento Fnac o ser finalista del Premio de Novela Ciudad de Torrevieja y del Premio Primavera.


En 2016, su novela Un hijo recibió el Premio Nacional de Literatura Juvenil. Con sus novelas más recientes, Una madre (Premio Mandarache 2016) y Un perro, dio arranque a una serie de personajes que han enamorado a miles de lectores. Su obra, llevada al teatro y próximamente al cine, ha sido traducida a quince lenguas.
