Frederic Chiu, pianista Chinu-Americanu, va ufiertar un programa innovador llamáu 'Combate ente compositores: Prokofiev vs. Debussy.' A la fin del recital, el mesmu públicu va votar pa decidir el ganador.


Con más de 25 CDs nel mercáu, el repertoriu de Chiu inclúi la obra completa de Prokofiev, según clásicos de Chopin, Liszt y obres maestres menos conocíes de Mendelssohn y Rossini, con un llugar especial pa la trescripción de pianu. Munchos fueron señalaos, como 'Record of the Year' de Stereo Review, 'Top 10 grabaciones' pol New Yorker, destacaos nel Wall Street Journal y el New York Times. Les sos grabaciones de más recién demuestren la so amplia gama: Quinta Sinfonía Beethoven/Liszt, Antroxu de los Animales con David González, ya Himnos y Derviches, música de Gurdjieff / de Hartmann.
