Con motivu del Día Mundial del Diseñu Industrial amuésense nel andén principal del Muséu una selección de pieces representatives del diseñu ferroviariu. Dende la mesma vía (col so balastu, los sos carriles y los sos aparatos de vía) hasta la más sofisticada de les locomotores d'alta velocidá, tuvieron que pasar poles fases o procesos del diseñu: Proyectu, producción, vienta y consumu. Caúna de les sos formes foi pensada pa la so función y casi siempres evolucionaron nel so aspeutu esternu y na so estructura interna, como lo fixo l'oxetu cotidianu a lo llargo de la hestoria del diseñu.
