Arturo Pérez-Reverte (Cartaxena 1951) dedícase n'esclusiva a la lliteratura, en viviendo 21 años (1973-1994) como reporteru de prensa, radio y televisión, cubriendo informativamente los conflictos internacionales nesi periodu. Trabayó doce años como reporteru nel diariu Pueblu, y nueve nos servicios informativos de Televisión Española (TVE) como especialista en conflictos armaos.

Dende 1991 escribe una páxina d'opinión na revista XLSemanal. Dalgunes de les sos noveles más destacaes son: “El maestru de esgrima”, “La tabla de Flandes”, la colección “Las aventures del Capitán Alatriste”, “Territorio comanche”, “La carta esférica” o “La Reina del Sur”. La so última publicación lleva por títulu “La guerra civil contada a los jóvenes”.

Arturo Pérez-Reverte ingresó na Real Academia Española'l 12 de xunu de 2003, lleendo un discursu tituláu “La fala d'un bravu del sieglu XVII”. Dende abril de 2016 ye editor y cofundador de la web de llibros y autores Zenda.
