Sevilla, 1977. Reme está orgullosa de que su hijo Miguel vaya a convertirse en el primer universitario de la familia. Aunque lo que de verdad quiere Miguel es ser artista y cantar en un popular concurso de televisión.

En un momento en que en España la homosexualidad es delito, Reme descubrirá también quienes son los nuevos amigos de su hijo: el incipiente movimiento LGTBI andaluz, gestado paradójicamente en el seno de la Iglesia. La historia de una madre viuda capaz de todo, incluso de vencer sus prejuicios por el amor a su hijo, en unos años 70 donde existía la ley de peligrosidad social, ley por la que el colectivo LGTBI comenzó la lucha por su derogación, para lograr la aceptación de la sociedad.
