La Orquesta Sinfónica Ciudad de Avilés está formada por prestigiosos músicos profesionales de la región, profesores del conservatorio 'Julián Orbón' y antiguos alumnos del mismo que ya forman parte de orquestas de gran reputación nacionales e internacionales.

Como novedad este año se contará con la participación del violonchelista ruso Alexander Osokin, solista de la Orquesta Moscow Virtuosi y antiguo profesor del conservatorio 'Julián Orbón'.
